So we all know Brainy has a crush on Helga, and she must know, too, right?
Right?
Maybe not. She acknowledges that he's always breathing down her neck, but hasn't seemed to have made the connection. Even in Helga on the Couch when he gave her that plastic ring, she seemed more interested in how he knew to wait in that alley than the fact that he practically proposed.
Someone suggested that her low self-esteem is the cause of her short sightedness where Brainy is concerned. Sure, we ALL know she loves Arnold, but her main deal with him was that he paid attention to her. Brainy pays a helluva lot more.
I'm just sayin'...
This only took about 45 minutes from beginning to end. Needed something to relax me after that disaster with Tones. ><

Yeah, I've noticed that Helga doesn't hold herself in the highest respect of the time either. When it comes to sports and most things, probably, but not relationships. She doesn't get that if Brainy always looks at her when she admires Arnold, that he's dong the exact same thing to her! I though she at least got the gist of it at the end of "Helga On The Couch", but apparently not. It's kind of ironic that she's as clueless as Arnold, right? Anyways, awesome art! I just love her reaction here, nice job.
